More Photos from the Island


This photo (and the two below) are of an area where thousands of Marines landed in an operation to retake Guam the Japanese during WWII. There are bombs holes from the shelling around this area and signs warning of unexploded ammunition in the ocean. It is hard to believe such a beautiful beach was the location of such a bloody battle. We were blessed to see a clear rainbow that day too.



The de Neve's car made it safely to the island. Thanks again Peter and Louise.

What a beautiful home! I sure wish we could visit you there but God has other ideas right now. If SHulan's fiance visa is denied, I will be living in CHina for a very long time. But at least she would be allowed to visit Guam. Perhaps we will honeymoon there, eh?
