Hafa Adai!

Hafa Adai!! (This is the local greeting on Guam)

Hello friends and family. Here are the long awaited pictures we have been promising for weeks. Guam is awesome, beautiful, and we are feeling extremely blessed. As you will see in the pictures the baby is growing and so is Natalie's belly. The pregnancy is going great and healthy. We hope you enjoy the pictures!! We love and miss you all! Love, Natalie (PS- Love from Cliff, too).

The Start of our Journey to Guam: Cleavis, Natalie, and Daisy at LAX airport.

Here is Cleavis or Daisy getting loaded onto the plane at LAX.
Layover in Tokyo, Japan

Visiting Cleavis and Daisy at the quarantine facility where they had to stay for 4 days.

Local fisherman (fishing with the net that is over his shoulder)

Local women skinning sea cucumbers. They say they taste great--I guess we'll see when we try them.

This photo and the next three below are from a secluded beach 3 miles from our house--great snorkeling here.

Flowers at the beach.

Flowers in the mountains.

Hiking trails near our house.

Natalie 12 weeks pregnant (3 full months!)

Cliff on our hike near Tarzan Falls.

Cleavis and Daisy decided to take a dip on the hot day.

Natalie 13 weeks pregnant.

Cliff and Charuto at Spike 22 gym in Tumon, Guam. Charuto is BJ Penn's Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) instructor. Cliff had a chance to train with him and learn from him for a week and a half while Charuto was visiting from Hawaii. He will be back in March. He was a really great guy and good teacher.

Streetside on the way to Nat's work.
Coconut tree.

More beach photos.

These cave pictures are caves that the Japanese hid in and fought from when the Marines took Guam back in WWII. These caves are located on the "Big Navy" base in the southern part of Guam.

This is foliage on the Navy base.

Gab Gab beach at Navy Base. Crystal clear water and lots of fish.

View from the main road in front of our house.

River 5 minutes from our house that Nat passes on the way to work everyday. It empties into the ocean (see photo below).

More photos to come. We have a really slow internet connection here-- so downloading these photos takes a long time. We hope you enjoyed the photos so far. Start saving your money so you can come out and visit-- you have a free place to stay.

Greetings to you from the Valley of the Sun! I love your pictures of Guam-brings back memories.

I hope you two like Guam-seems like you do.

I have just added this "blog" to my favorites so I will check it often.

If you get a chance to visit the Talofofo area, look for Yokoi's cave. Yokoi was a Japanese soldier who hid on the island long after WW2 was over.
